Trip Information

The construction team is being led by Pam Dauplaise. 

If you are interested in going to Baja you have to register.  The trip cost is $65 USD per individual.  Space is limited so sign up early. Additionally, you have to fill out and return to CBC an Integrity Agreement and Waiver of Liability forms.  If you are a minor (age 15-17) you are required to have your parent or legal guardian sign the Consent Letter and return it to CBC.  Also, we ask that all minors be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Be sure and check out and/or print the personal checklist for items that you may find helpful to bring with you.

If you have any carpenter/framing or painting/drywall tools, you can view the basic tools that will be used.  Here is a list of tools from the Team Casa de Dios website.  If you don't have tools it is unnecessary to purchase them.  Dave Bower from Team Casa de Dios has tools to borrow and we often borrow from church members who have gone on past trips.  

If you are planning on driving you will be required to purchase Mexican car insurance.  CBC will reimburse the cost of the insurance.  You may purchase auto insurance online from here.  Make sure you purchase it a few days prior to the trip.  If you are planning on driving you can find driving directions on how to get to Otay Mesa, CA where we meet before crossing the border.

                Children's Outreach team members should attend meetings on September 27, October 4, and October 18, 2009 at 10:30 in room 4

                The team will be commissioned during first and second service.

                A debriefing meeting will be held following the trip.  The date and time to be announced.
